My Decided Setup, please take a look any give me some opinions...

Hey Guys, ive decided to get serious about recording and have made a list of gear to get over the next few months... please give me your opinions...

My already existing computer - Dell GX240 (i think).
- P4 1.6ghz
- 256Mg RAM
- 40GB HDD

To add
- 80GB 7200RPM Western Digital HDD
- Bring RAM up too 1024Mg

Software
I am all ready running Cubase VST, Cubase XT, Wavelab, Sonar 2 XL, Nuendo, Sound Forge and Cool Edit Pro 2
I will probably reformat and just use Cubase SX to track and mix and Wavelab to add the finishing touches

Hardware
- Aardvark Q10
- Joe Meek TwinQ cs
- Lexicon MPX-1

Mic's
- SM57
- Rode NT-2
- Cad Drum Mic Kit (Kick Mic, 3 Tom Mic's, Snare Mic and 2 overheads)

Cables i will make myself using Canare cable and Neutrik plugs...

Anything i should add or change?

I cant think of anything else.
Well, I guess I personally wouldn't be using a Dell. Im a stickler for building my own machines with selective components.
If you were me, you would be selling the Dell....but hey, if it works for ya, then no big deal.;)
 
hmmm... i dont think i have the $$ to build a custom box at the moment... tho i am thinking of replacing the P4 1.6ghz processor with a 2.4 or 2.6... think it'll be worth the extra $$
