Outstanding Michael. This is my Dad's favorite christmas tune. I've been racking my brain trying to come up with a cool guitar version for him for Christmas. Seems to me you hit it on the head. Very nice sir.

thought maybe I heard a piano 'stumble' around :44.... but otherwise very nice.
 
Thanks guys. That was from my Kurzweil SP88X.

No EQ everything was left at the 12:00 position. A little compression on the keys and that's it.

Yeah that was a stumble at :44. I didn't sweat it.
 
I listened to this over the "break" from your NWR page. It's on the personal Christmas CD now. Nice stuff.

Thanks again. That was probably the 30 or 40th take over a two day period. I always choke somewhere in the tune when the big reels are turning. My mind wanders and I can't concentrate on the song.

If I screw up, I start all over and hope I make it through the next time. I sure used a lot of head cleaner.

It's almost impossible to do a punch on a piano part when using the sustain pedal and playing eighth notes. You either play it right or you don't. The timing has to be perfect too...and mine isn't.

I love the gentle weightiness of the strings, and the sensitivity of your delivery. And as far as I'm concerned, the little stumble at 0:44 just means you're human.

A kinda and warm treat. :)

As it happens, my contribution is also SIlent Night, but I'll start a thread so as not to sully this one.

Damn, that's stressfull to do. I always hated it when your down to the last few bars and your telling yourself "can't screw up, can't screw up". But that's why they made midi ;)

Very nice. This gets added to the Cd. I personally don't really care for 'perfection' playing......it's a little too sterile for me so I thought your rendition was perfect. very pretty and soothing. Nice...:)
