Here's a few songs from our live show last sat night. Recorded straight from the soundboard. It's nothing fancy, just a little sample of what we sound like if anyones interested. I'm the drummer. :p

"Suicide Gypsy"

"Running With Scissors"

"Outlaw Lover" (new one, first time playing it live)

"Bastard in Me/Chopping Block" (2 songs sandwiched together to close the set)

Hope yall like it. :)

Y'all are tight dude. Good stuff. Sounds like everyone's got their parts down. "Bastard in Me" has a sort of an old Metallica vibe to it (listening to it now as I type).

The recording is really, really good for what it is. Clean clean clean. Vox are as clear as a bell...maybe a bit hot, but that's a live recording for ya. Another thing that I noticed mix wise was the guitars sounded like all the mids were scooped out. This may just be the way your guitarist has his rig set, the mic, the cab, the room...who knows? It fits y'alls sound, but it comes through as being a bit harsh in the recording.

Other than those little nits, great job, and hope it was a great show!!

Just listened to the first 20 seconds of suicide gypsy. . . my room-mate's trying to sleep haha. . .

I think the tones and EQ sounds right, but I can deffinately hear the compression. It's a cool song, the compression's the only thing I can really pick out.

Sounds pretty good man...great performance, and you seemed to capture the sounds pretty good. I'd go see this...:D

Sounds cool, nice work! Are these covers? Original?

I really like that HAMMERHEAD song you recorded. Do you play guitar or drums?

Given that it's a live SOUNBOARD recording this is EXCELLENT.
Tight as a fish's bum.
Then again the band would have to approach your own degree of finess or you'd not be with them.

Thanks man. It was an okay show. This recording is just as it came from the board.

Yeah the sound guy compressed the shit out of it. Thanks for listening.

Thanks asshat, but I didn't capture anything. :p The soundguy recorded it without us even knowing it. After our set he asked us if we wanted us to put it to CD and we were like WTF are you talking about? He told us it was recorded so we gave him 15 bucks to make us a "master" CD right there on the spot.

These are originals. While I play covers on my own here at home, my band plays nothing but originals. We have about 25-30 original songs. I play drums in the band, and everything on my home recordings. Thanks. :)

Thanks dude. Our stuff isn't technically hard, so we at least should try to perform them well. :p

Your band has a way different sound than what you post. If you were in Ohio I would offer to come to a gig and record it with my Mackie 1640. Then you would have alot of tracks to mix. Im still tryin to get over the contrast between your band stuff and your covers. You guys would make a hell of a Metallica cover band. Also, put a mic back there by the drums and sing a few.

Nice...I dig.

I was rocking out to Running with Scissors and Bastard in Me.

Musically very tight live and it's a pretty good recording in that it gave me a good feel of your live sound.

Good stuff.

Haha thanks. Yeah we try to sort of blend classic metal sounds with a fast-paced, short-song, punk rock feel. It's fun. We're kinda in a weird spot because we're too "metal" for the punk crowd and too "punk" for the metal crowd. We sit somewhere in the middle. I get the impression sometimes that people don't know what to think. Our songs are sort of a barrage of sound and before the crowd can figure out whats happening, the song ends and we're off into the next one, Ramones style. Even our modest fan-base seems confused sometimes. We get a lot of nervous applause like they're thinking "what the fuck just happened here?" Or, we just suck and noone likes us. :D

Thanks a lot man. :)

I listened to Suicide Gypsy. Great board mix, and the compression doesn't bother me at all. This mix would be great live, everything audible and nothing overpowering.

So who's singing? Both your guitarist and bass player are playing madly :) so you would think it was impossible for them to sing too....

Uber Cool man....

Thanks Ido. :)

The guitar player sings. We're just a 3 piece.

Our current bassist is a fantastic lead guitarist, so we're looking for a new bass player to move our current guy to lead. It should fatten up our sound a bunch and give us some kick ass solos. :p

i listened to Outlaw Lover and the Scissors song. Nice Power drummin man. The guitars have a good thick sound to it as well. The vocal style/voice not really my cup of tea. Kinda reminds me of the 80's hair bands, but musically you guys sound pretty damn good bro.

damn Greg the band sounds awesome. you can actually hear everything. very good vox, and your snare sounds bad ass. fuck that sounds like fun dude, i wish i could find some people to let me drum with them on some music just like this.
