my Audio interface/power amp

okay so heres the deal i'm running a mackie cr1604 to a line 6 toneport ux1 i have it hooked up through the alt 3-4 outs and connected into the back of the ux1 through the line inputs....I'm looking to record and mix at least 8 track at the same time...( mostly for tracking drums) my question is if the ux1 can do this and if you have any recommendations on hooking up my mixer to my computer. i also recently purchased a pair of alesis 1 mk2 passive monitors and i need a new power amp i'm on a tight budget so if you can give any recommendations it would be great. greatly appreciated for any help that you can give

from what i read on the the line 6 toneport ux1 is that it is a USB interface which will only do 2 tracks.

For more then 2 tracks you would need a firewire interface or a soundcard that has 8 inputs
