Mxl V77

In the past few months I have been recording vocals with a KSM27. A buddy dropped off this MXL77 and told me to play with it for a while. I really like it on my voice. The vocal tracks I have been doing don't sound nearly as rich or round as with the 77. Now that I have heard the two side by side my previous vocals sound kind of midi or tinny next to this tube mic.

Now I gotta' have one. What I was wondering was what would be the place to get one. I did a search and recall some people saying they were only $300 or something?

Also, is there any updated views on this model.
