Mxl cube pop

Hey guys ive got an MXL Cube just wondering if anyone has had one and what they have used it for if they were happy with it. I got one 2 years ago and still havent used it as i dont have a pre amp and never got round 2 buying one. I would really appreciate your thoughts on this mic even if u dont have 1?

Hello Dope.....The cube is probably the one MXL microphone that I do not own But if I were to purchase it I would think that I would try it on vocal tracks first.
It looks kinda weird sorta like the old RCA microphones.....How does it connect to the microphone stand? that is what does it come with, a clip? Or a spider?

Oh it comes with a Universal clip same as all the others. I need to find a shock mount and that 4 it 2 and a table stand.

Yeah I do plan to use it for vocals mainly I dont have any other mics but a crappy m-audio one really only for mceeing not recording but have used it a couple of times for recording wouldnt advise it ill get you the model.

ok i finally used the cube sounds great for the price im pretty happy its funny cause the pre amp cost me more than the mic lol nah it sounds cool though from what ive done i havent screamed in it yet so i haven't exactly tested its limits out hi and low but i have been researching a bit about it and they reckon alot of ppl mainly use it for acoustic guitar and drum recordings and they are pretty happy with it for the price so i hope i get some good use over it
