Mxl 993?

Lots of people have talked about the mxl 993 specs and mentioned that they're curious about them. Anyone have one (or a pair) or know of an actual review? The price tempts me but I have heard literally nothing about them. Also, MF says stereo pair... this seems misleading. I'm assuming they're not matched right?

Yeah, I don't know about that. The 603s cost more if you got them MATCHED. Who knows...

They don't even have the specs for them on the MXL website, and it has been months.

MXL did finally update their site the other day with info on the 993. They do quote 2 different frequency ranges for it though. The info isn't much more in depth than the stuff offered on MF, but you can see the response curves and such.
