MXL 603's

Does anyone know where I can find the MXL 603? Seems like many place dont carry them anymore, I've been searching and have only seen them offered with the 2001 I believe.

what applications will you be using this mic for?....

Drum overhead's, acoustic guitar, anything else I can stick them against. The only condenser I have is an NT-1, which I've used alot as an overhead, and on guitars, but I'm anxious to try these MXL's.

You may want to look into the Behringer ECM8000's also.....I hear they are pretty good as overheads......

80 pazuttas for the 603...and $150 for the 2001/603 combo...

So..the 2001 isn't worth 70 bucks?...the shockmount is $30...so $40 for the mic??.....You guys think the 2001 is THAT bad??!!??
