There are so many things on the market for channel switching/line selectors etc for guitars, I am not sure everythign that is available.
I am running a rig where my guitars are plugged into a mixer, so to switch guitars all I have to do is pull the fader down on the ones I am not using, and raise the fader on the one I am using to Unity. This is two electrics and an acoustic.
The acoustic is panned hard right, and the right out of the mixer goes to my Peavey Ecoustic 112 amp. The electrics are both panned hard left, and go out the left out into a BluesBreaker pedal, then into my J-station (which I am using only for effects like reverb, delay, chorus etc.). The J is controlled by a FCB1010 midi controller, which gives me volume control, wah, etc etc.
The left out of the J-station runs to my Garnet Mohawk amplifier, and the right out goes to my Fender amp. Both of those amps have overdrive footswitches. Basically, this lets me use either both amps at the same time (which sometimes sounds phenomenal, especially with stereo effects and is awesome with ping-pong delay), or sometimes I want to use only one of the amps, and mute the other.
Basically I either need a device that accepts two inputs (the L/R of the J-station), and has two outputs, that can be switched on/off. I was looking at a few this weekend, but didn't spot anything with two ins, tehy were all single ins with A/B/Y switching. Is there such a device? What is it?
OR, I just need a "mute" switch on both outputs from the J. Is there such a thing? Just a little stompbox that mutes the signal coming through it?
