Ok I was told to buy MIDI cables in order to maximize my software capabilities but this MIDI ish has got me lost. I bought cables that came with Cakewalk express8, but still have no idea how to record or sequence with it. I have a Yamaha DJX keyboard so I had to download the instrument definition, the thing is it worked (although playing the wrong sound) at first now I gets no sound. I know its supposed to be hell learning this, but if any1 can explain or lead me in the right direction it would help.
