how do these mics compare to other overhead combos mentioned on this forum??

You can get unmatched Oktavas for that money.

You can get matched 603s with shockmounts and a case for that money.

You can get a pair of ECM 8000s for $70.

I've heard of all 3 of these being more favorably mentioned for OHs than the AKG.
