music videos with Macs

Question: Does the Mac G4 (or any other MAC) have the ability to lock sound with picture, as in music videos?

All macs and pc's have that capability. The real issue is what software and video card to use.

Naturally there are third party apps as well like: http://www.adobe.com/motion/main.html

These are just off the top of my head. There are probably a few more that I'm missing because I don't do this stuff (digital video).

With anything like this I believe it's better to decide on an app first, then configure your system accordingly.
