ive got a korg d8 and audition and i cant figure out how to import all 8 tracks as 8 tracks in audition please help!

most likely, you will need to export each track as a .wav file and bring each file into the multitrack session, which is how Audition tracks anyway. Once the tracks are transferred you can slide them around so that they are placed where you want them. You may also find more detailed answers to this question in the Cool Edit Pro section of this forum. Cool Edit Pro was the forerunner to Adobe Audition.

Hard disk to CD?

I'm looking at some digital recorders right now...not sure if I need more than 4-tracks but my question is regarding recorders that do not have CD burners internal to them...after recording to the hard disk, how does one put it all on a CD???

a lot of them today have USB capabilities which allows you to export from the machine onto the computer. You can edit and then make a cd from there. My MR8-HD has a usb host thing where you can actually get an external burner and then...well...burn them :) hope that helps any
