FastTrack mark 1 cannot isolate Left and Right, all it will do by panning is bias to left or right, it will not leave you with two clean tracks you can save as mono's ~ if it did this I would be home and dry.

I can only imagine that its the interface that won't allow it then. Mixcraft definitely does. When I record on mine the guitar comes from the right channel and the mic from the left.

Maybe it is a new AI that u need.

yes i think it's definitely FT1 - i have absolute ease arming two channels in MixCraft so at least i can hang onto my software - i just need a more flexible interface it seems.
