multiple effects for actors name

i'm a sound designer for a theater group, my directors like to use reverb and other effects like that on actors. but they only like it on certain lines and words. so i need something that i can control really easily. also i need that be used for multiple people at once. so any ideas on equipment would be amazing thanks!!!

Lexicon PCM90/PCM91 pipe the Aux send to the Lexicon which is set to 100% wet. The send the output of the Lexicon back to a channel on your mixer. Set the aux sends on the individual channel and the main send. Use the volume on the Lexicon return mixer channel to increase/decrease the amount of reverb on all the channels at one time.
