Multi-Track Recorder Question

Hi Folks

I'm looking to buy a multi-Track recorder that will record a minimum of
12 tracks simultaneously, and has the facility to connect a mouse & monitor (VGA port)

Any info regarding brands & models will be much appreciated.

I don't think there is a SIAB that will record 12 tracks at once. Or, concurrently. If I'm wrong, somebody will correct me.

I guess that leaves you with a choice of PC systems.

You might call some local studios, in your area, and casually ask. Better yet, call Sweetwater and ask a phone-rep. You don't need to buy; never hurts to ask.

STRONGLY suggest spending the dough an a decent laptop and a DAW, but whaddaIknow?

if your stationary you can save some money and get a regular computer not a laptop. Mor bang for your buck, but not very portable.
