multi fx

Hi all
i've been researching guitar multi fx processors and have currently zeroed in on the digitech genesis 3 w/ possibility of getting the control x in the future..

it seems like it packs good sound quality w/ a low price which is what i'm looking for...

i'm interested in primarily recording applications with the occassional live application..

any other units i should be considering?


any suggestions much appreciated!!

If you're looking at something primarlly for recording, I just purchased a Johnson J-station. I've been quite surprised with this little unit so far, and it's $99 or less. If you haven't checked it out, read the specs here: http://www.johnson-amp.com/jstation.htm

That box looks great, and the price is awesome too...

and apparently from what people are saying its comparable if not better than the Berhinger Vamp and the Gen 3...

id have to say the j-station for recording.


and as much as i hate it, have you looked at a used pod?



i have the bass version of the digitech effects thingy. it rocks my socks. one of my friends has the guitar version with three pedals, and it sounds great.
