i need to know which multi-effect processor is a great bargain....it also has to be in an affordable price range...

Personally, I preferred the sound of the budget Lexi's over the budget TC stuff...

i follow albert sugestions, on this forum, and ebay a Alesis wedge for 90 dollars, is a reverb unit, but have other effects, i like the wedge a lot and just ebay another one at 78 a few weeks ago.

i have: 2 wedges, 1 roland 3030, sony dsp-55, lexicon alex, lexicon vortex, and the wedges and the vortex are my favourites.

Are any of those budget units better than the Kjaerhus and digital fishphones plugins?

I was just looking on ebay and saw lexicon mx100s for like $50-70. What is the biggest difference between them and the mx200? Is it worth the price jump?

I own a Lexicon 100 and the TC300 - tone wise, I dont' think one blows the other away (I prefer the TC slightly) however, I much prefer the use application and control variables of the TC over the 100.

Regarding the 100 vs. the 200 (and someone may correct me if I'm incorrect) - the 100 is not a true stereo precessor (I consider it more or a "duel mono". The 200 is indeed a stereo processor.

However I think the bigger issue betwwen the 100 & the 200 - the 100 series has a serious gain control problem, almost any signal at the input over drives the unit, this the input gain control is ralatively useless (since you have to keep down to nothing to prevent a distorted signal. I don't know is this is an issue with every 100, but I know it was a rather broad problem. I beleive this was corrected with both the 110 and the 200.

Get the Lexi 200 if you want to go Lexicon.... It can be plugged into the USB port of your DAW and used as a plug-in in your sequencer (so the ads say.....)

The tc has s/pdif connectors and can be used in the same manner.

I don't think it has the plugin software that the Lex 200 has, though.
