I just restrung my MTD and while doing the typical restringing cleaning and maintenance I was struck (again) by the beautiful workmanship. If you haven't played one, do yourself a favor and seek one out and get it in your hands.
My 635 fretted and 535 fretless are by far the best sounding basses I've ever owned.
