MSHs for plug-in power

Just wondering when these might be available?

And will the specs (e.g. noise, sensitivity) be the same as the phantom units?

If running a pair of these, could I do it with one
9V battery box? Or would I need two battery
boxes?

I can't say a lot other than "soon". It depends on how busy I am with orders. I did a fair bit of work on it over the weekend.

Well the planned 1M is a phantom and/or plug-in mic. The sensitivity will differ according to the power source, but I *think* noise will be the same.

One 9V should be more than enough. A 9V battery can supply lots and lots of current, as far as a mic is concerned. You could probably run 10 mics off a 9V . . .

I'd be interested in knowing the sensitivity of
3V plug-in power vs. using a 9V battery box.

The sensitivity won't change, but the SPL handling will drop a little. Sensitivity doesn't drop until supply voltage gets really low, like under 2V.

I see these mic's are now available.
I would be interested in using the
plug-in power adapter.

Mshilarious, I want to use a matched pair
for spaced omni, going into a minidisc.
Could you explain how to connect
two mobile mic's to one minidisc, using
the plug-in power connectors?
Is it possible to go 2-into-1? Some type of Y-adapter
maybe?
