MS 16 repair

Hello everyone. This is my first post. Hurray for me. I have a ms16 that is a little buggy. Some tracks will not completely record over existing tracks. It probably needs to be aligned. I've had this one for 5 years or so and it gets a moderate amount or use. I also have another ms16 that works that I use for parts (I have replaced a couple of Rec/Play cards in my recording deck). I'm wondering if there is anyone in the Cleveland area that I can trust with working on it. I also need a tech to check out my Tac Scorpion. This would have to be a house call. Any suggestions?

Do you have a suitable alignment tape, repair/set-up manual, and an O'scope in the house? If not, get them and see if a proper alignment takes care of things. Analog decks need to be calibrated every time a new piece of tape is loaded. I'm no tech but it sounds like you need a physical and electronic alignment badly.
 
I don't have an alignment tape and have not been able to find one. Any ideas?
