MR8 owners, do you use the pre's?

Do you use the MR8 pre's?

I guess you mean the D/A? Or do you mean A/D like the di/o dual rack pre?

MR8 only has dig out, but other DAW's have i/o like my korg so i could use A/D pre, but then I'd still be using stock D/A's, not sure if that would make a diff.
 
no s/pdif in????

well that kills that idea.

i used the little art di/o that looks like a tube mp

it gives 2 channels of ad conversion; i guess it does da also

i noticed a big improvement
 
i see the mr8 has wav out so you can bypass the d/a that way

i guess theres no way to bypass the a/d

hmmm. The stereo outs are digital outs? I thought they were analog... I better go look at my manual again...

The only thing it says is "stereo outs. connect to master recorder or monitor speakers." I think they are analog, though...
