MR8 or VF80?

Had my MR8 a couple of days now and I feel pretty restricted by such a limited recording time on the included 128M card. For around £60 more (same price as a 256MB Flash card), my friendly music store will swap it for a new VF80 with up to 8 hours of 8 track. Am I missing the point of this thing or is it simply the low weight, battery power, USB and red colour that sold me?

Any comments would be greatly received.

Rx-Dave,

The MR-8 works best with a computer. It offers the easiest and fastest way to move tracks between the two. If you are going to use the recorder without a computer, you will probably be much happier with the VF.
