MR8 max. CF card size

Hello,
has anybody tested which is the max. CF card size a Fostex MR-8 with latest firmware can use ?
My biggest card is a Lexar 1GB 16x, this works perfectly.

The data on the FosTex web site says there is no limit. Prior to this I remember reading somewhere that 2GB was the limit. Either way it is large.

Hello,

yesterday I got a SanDisk Ultra II 2 GB CF card. I tested it hard and I can say: NO problems at all. It works 100 % at all 8 tracks.
I think this will be the largest CF a MR-8 supports, because of the DOS_FAT_16 filesystem. This card is large enough for me, so I can stop testing.
I hope this info is usefull for someone.

I've only got a SanDisk 512MB. I didn't know I could go that high. Damn, I'm going shopping this weekend...
