I've made several recordings that i have exported to my PC. I have windows 98 so I am unable to use the mr8 to send the info...instead i use a card reader.

All of the tracks recorded don't seem to make the trip to the computer? I open the 2mix file and open the song in musicmatch jukebox and then burn a disc.

Last night i recorded 4 tracks..2 acoustic guitar tracks and 2 vocal tracks. I panned a guitar left and right and the vocal tracks left and right.....but i'm only getting (or hearing) 1 guitar and 1 vocal?

Am i doing something wrong???

I have used the stereo outs to a minidisc recorder and have no problems!

Thanks for all your help!!!!!

To send a final mix to the PC through the 2mix file, you need to bounce all the tracks to 7 and 8 (basically mix down), then you have to convert tracks 7 and 8 into a stereo wav file first (that is the step that you did not mention that you are probably missing). Once the wave filke is created try pulling it from the 2 mix folder. That should do it. Be aware of memory! It takes more memory to create the stereo wav file so be sure that you like your final mix on tracks 7 and 8 before you delete tracks 1 through 6.

Clif,

Actually i have bounced everything to 7-8 and mixed down and converted to WAV file.

You mentioned being happy with the mix prior to deleting trks 1-6? Do i have to delete these trks?

I thought maybe it was the mix. I mixed using headphones.....but like i mentioned before, when i recorded to minidisc using the stereo outs the mix is fine...sounds great.

the stuff making it to the computer isn't right...I've followed the manual etc...

If you still have room you don't have to delete the tracks 1-6.

Try dragging the song out of the 2mix folder into a new folder on your hardrive. Then listen to it using your player of choice, other than that I am stumped on your problem. Just try different things to narrrow down what the problem is.
