I got my MR16hd about 2 weeks ago and i love it. Ive recorded some of my acoustic songs and it works great. But Today i brought it to my band practice and i had an issue that makes me worry.
My guitar amp and the bass players amp have line outs so we ran bass and guitar to inputs A and B and we played a song live with our drummer. after that i ran 4 mic's (A,B,C,D inputs)For the drums and my drummer put head phones on and we recorded him playing along with the bass and guitar tracks. But about half way through the song he said he kept geting off beat and when we played it back it was like the guitar and bass tracks were almost skipping, about half way through the song both guitar and bass would slightly sputter which screws up the timing on drums. So what the hells wrong lol?
So now i dont know if my HD is crappin out or if this thing is just a pile of crap that cant handle recording all 4 inputs at once.
I didnt hear any clicking in the HD.
Would the vibration of the drums affect it? Because I have an extension for the head phones but we had the recorder on top of a little table next to the drum set. The Drummer thought maybe if we moved it farther away and had sturdier table maybe it wouldnt screw up.
If anyone could help me out i would be greatful. Friday im getting together with the Drummer and we are going to mess around and see if we can figure it out. But im at a loss at what todo....
