I see that quite a few of you guys here use the MR-8 along with n-Tracks software. However, since I have Cakewalk's Guitar Tracks V.2 (8 tracks) which I'm more familiar with, could it serve the MR-8 pretty much as well as nTracks? Any comments from other Cakewalk/MR-8 users here regarding this would be appreciated.

latest project: a one-minute version of "Buckaroo", the old Buck Owens theme song. If anyone's interested in hearing it, I can email an MP3.

I use Cakewalk Music Creator, and I would imagine that I have just as much versatility as someone using the MR8 with n-tracks.

cool

as long as the program accepts .wav file, should work great!!!!!!!!

My only question would be what kind of effects that Guitar Tracks has and accepts? Otherwise use what you are comfortable with. I chose N-track mainly because of the price and because it was easy to learn. It not only came with some good effects and eq, but I also found a lot of free plugins that work well in conjunction with it.
