So here is the situation...

I haven't played for almost a year. I basically lost the drive. Last month I noticed all of my gear in the other room and thought that if it wasn't inspiring me to play then I needed to get new gear. So I did. I sold my guitars and bought new ones. I was contemplating selling my MR-8 and getting something else, but after playing with it for about an hour, this is what I came up with. It's not great, but it makes me remember why I got into recording in the first place. I think it's not bad for less than an hour from beginning to end (set up, recording, mixing, file converting). This should be an inspiration to anyone who thinks that they are not good enough. Listen to this and know that there is always someone worse than you!

that just gave me an idea. I'm gonna use my drum machine for the bass drum and play everything else live on the kit. I wonder if I can do it. I can't use my foot for sh!t so my drumming sounds skunk, but my right arm can do decent time on guitar and seems ok on the hi hat, and left arm on snare, not too bad. I'll let you know how it goes.
