Ohhh snaps, I just before you posted, I went back and looked at this DVD i bought about he motif, and found out i can go into the "mix mode" to add effects from the "song mode".....still i appreciate your post..... ok that sh*t is off the chain, i've been wanting to add effects from within the motif i just neva new how from the song mode, beats are going to be over 100% better.

But yeah the swing ish with the MPC is off the chain. You can do "Later" or "Early", later of course playing a lil' bit late, early playing a lil bit early, and then you can increase the lateness or the earlyness by "percentage" . I don't know if software programs have this function.....i'm sure there are programs that will do swing, but the mpc does it so damn tight; it's ridiculous.

mayne, i'm having a blast messing with these damn effects.

Thanks

I tried that one time before that sh8t didn't work. But it works fine now. Oh, just got my MPC and... let me tell you this thing is off the chain. I started making some tight beats on the spot. I really believe now that it is a huge diffence from fruityloops. Sometimes people say things because about fruityloops because your on a budget. For the producers who are making hot tracks off of the FL Studio you would be dangerous on the MPC. The MPC makes things 10 times easier than FLs. Get one or play with one with some decent sample and you will see for yourself.

I told you that muthaf*cka was tight..hahahahahaahhaa

I know what you mean by "Sometimes people say things because about fruityloops because your on a budget.", and the fact that what u can do on a program seems wayy easier on the mpc......i said "easier" not "time efficient".

But it really boils down to the person, i've neva really messed with FL but I know i could flip some tight sh*t on there, but I've came up from the days of Rebirth....when you couldn't load your on samples until the MOD packages came out and then the MOD PACKER....yall probably don't even know that sh*T is it's soooo old hahahahhahahaha

I like some of the effects u can throw on the guitar sounds in the motif, but nothing beats a live guitarist and his efx boxes.

The MPC is superrrrrrrrr easy...Hell I can do a whole beat...with hook parts, bridges, different verse parts and all in like an hour..but then that's all about knowing the equipment. Once you learn how to do this and that, copy this , fix that, things get wayyyy easier so u can spend more time looking for samples, promoting, or whatever you do.

Now that u got a set up basically like mine, we can flip some sh*t if your into working with other producers over the internet.

Sounds cool to me floss. I have a few projects that I'm working on right now. But, as soon as I get a chance I will hit you up.
