I'M BLESSED.......
I see mad advertisements on ebay for a MC 2000xl for $700 for an outright "Buy it Now". I have inquired a couple of times to ebay and the seller as to why the seller will only accept western union. I know that it is a good price for a "Brand new in the box" item, and I have recieved and invoice from ebay supposedly confirming the transaction as legit. But the seller is from Romania but they have a location of Louisiana. I check another similar post and their Location was California but again their Western Union address was in Romania.....What's up with that? I don't frequent ebay too much, but I am looking for a MPC so any advice will be cool. I don't plan on throwing $700 to some idiot looking to snatch and grab.

try and get in contact with the seller..thats what i alway try to do before i make a buy on ebay..

western union is a sure fire way to get SCAMMED! western union will not do a damned thing to get you your money back. all the scammer needs is any type of fake id with a false identity and he or she gets the money. there is no type of paper trail that leads to the scammer. if you do it through pay pal, check, or credit, then there is a paper trail that leads back to the person. really good scammers can get around this also. purchasing something on credit with your debit card is the best route besides a hand to hand transaction because your bank insures the money. I don't know what the limit is for your bank, you may want to check. money orders and western union should be out of the question when doing purchases for high dollar value items.

Thanks Dog!
I researched more and totally threw that option out. What was weird was I got an email from with a Ebay Logo and the whole nine saying WEstern union was legit and everything. But when I called Ebay back, they said they would never do such a thing and they don't advise anyone to use Western union. THOSE SCAMMERS prey upon listing a nice attractive price and hope that an anxious person who jumps on it quick, because of the attraction, will fall for the okey doke. Thanks for the info BUYER BEWARE! ! ! !
