Okay, I have heard pros and cons of both pieces of equipment(MPC 2000xl or ASR PRO X), but which one do you think is overall better of the two???

depends on what you want to do....I've been using the mpc2000xl for about a year now...and I figure if I was to get the asr I would still use the MPC as the sequencer/drum machine and use the asr like a sound module

I was going to post the same thing that Rassizzm posted.
The ASR-X-Pro has a sh*tty sequencer, but you could use it as a sound module.
Get the MPC.
