tell what what you guys think, and what approach i can go about to tweek it.

that was awesome!

Not my style of music, but really well recorded. I'd say the mix great, the drums expertly recorded. Is this in a home studio?

I agree, the recording is very good. Vocals are a bit upfont, but that may be what you wanted. They could use some taming to sit a bit better in the mix, but I am not sure what you are looking for there. Just a personal preferance on my part. Nothing really stands out as a problem, as the song is cool.

yeah, home studio. :o ... and what suggestions for taming the vocals?
 
I don't know if you have tried any verb, or maybe some chorus on them, but you might play with that a bit. Might try to compress them a bit, or even just turn them down a bit. Don't bring the music up, as that might create more noise problems. Also, if you want them out front, leave them, as some of this style of music is that way. Really depends on what you are going for, and some of this is just personal preference on my part.

compression on which version? the tweeked was verbed, compressed, and maximinzed (TLs MAximixer)... the other version was just the bounced tracks.
