mp3?wav?ra?

I really like the idea of this forum, but are MP3's the only format used here? I have Cakewalk Pro 8.0 and I see that I can save my files as wave, avi, real audio, or real media, but it mentions nothing about mp3. Is it possible to convert to mp3 from one of these other formats, or could a wav file be used in this forum also??

Search the archives here; get and use a .wav to .mp3 converter. They're FREE! Some, including myself have posted stuff in Real Media format as well, but .mp3 is more popular for this purpose here.

A good place to find a good mp3 ripper is at www.nonags.com - this site has freeware software that does not require you to register. It's legally free. You can download a few programs and find the best that suits you.

I use CDex. You can get it at www.cdex.n3.net .
