I have been recording heavily these last few weeks since I got everything "figured out" with my software/sound card et cetera. Now I live in Europe but all my family and friends live back home in the states. I have 2 websites that I use to learn web page design and now I want to post my songs as MP3s on those websites. However I haven't a clue how to get the .wav files ripped down into MP3s. I have downloaded a free-ware ripper from www.download.com and it works ok for ripping CD songs into MP3s... but there is no option to just search the computer for a radnom .wav file to rip into MP3. I assume that I would need some software from a store. What do you guys use and what is the best? I mean I know that this piece of software is not going to cost $400 or anything, I am just looking for some $50-$150 software that can handle anything that I will need for posting MP3s to the web for mammy and daddy to hear there precious Mike-Boy playing his lovely little opus.
Thanks guys,
Mike
