Greetings, I would like to find a s/w program to make mp3's on my dell laptop. It has a "sound blaster pro compatible" sound card, mic in and line input. I have a little tascam 4 track and some band equipment and have made some 4-tracks at the house, both the band and some acoustic stuff. What is the best software? Remember I don't have any slot for darla/gina or that type of interface, I have to use the little line in on my laptop. No success with the "music master jukebox" I downloaded from the web, I am willing to by a program-- also I need interface for rca-type line out from the tascam into this laptop.
cheers

You can buy a cord that has 2 RCA male ends (for your tascam) on one end and an 1/8 stereo male end on the other (for your laptop). I buy mine at Radio Shack. That's really all you need. Go to the MP3 section of this site for help on the MP3s. Alright!
