Well I had more detail in my original post but my password has been changed for some reason, so I lost it. Anyway, great variety of music, excellent voice and dynamics. Listened to all 4 in Lo-Fi so I can't comment too much on the recording/mix but It sounded good.

I think the vocal had too much reverb in
"I believe in you" but other than that the production's OK. This is the case on all four tunes but most noticeable here. Also I don't seem to be picking up much of a bass drum.
What was that nylon stringed guitar solo in "Matter of Time"? Was that a synth?

Good songs, good writing...really enjoyed Going my Way the best...who played what, who sang, how were the songs recorded? The drums sounded like they were real but maybe not miked on the kick?...if they were canned, they were really good....and yeah there's a lot of reverb goin on with the vocals on all the songs....back up vocals on Next Mistake were very cool...there seemed to be some volume ups and downs on that song but I dug the tune....I Believe In You seemed like it had a little higher eq than the others, maybe just my ears..Matter Of Time was very different from the others....wished there was some panning on the strings...they seemed to need some separation....I'm glad I downloaded all four and I enjoyed 'em...gibs

Thanks for your feedback. 12 ounce curl is just my drummer + I, I do the guitar, bass, keyboards, vocals(NextMistake+MatterOfTime), and back vocals, my drummer does lead vocals on Going My way and I believe in you.
I record on a tascam 488 8 track and than mix to my pc,we use a Alesis DM5 on the acoustic drums with triggers, which we still having gotten the best sound out of yet but we're trying,as for the guitars, some are live and most of it is recorded using a old zoom 9030 multi effect box. Bass is direct out of a trace elliot head, and vocals are recorded out of the same zoom unit with a shure 57 mic. I still saving up to go all digital one of these days, but for now this is my setup.
Thanks again,
Russ
