Moving the effects window in Acid

Today when I was working in acid I accidentally moved the the effects window down where the window that has the clips in it is. I can still acsess the clips, but I can't scroll down on the effects so I can't use part of the effects. I have tried to move it back up but it has not helped. I have also tried to shut down acid and try open again but the effects automatically open down at the bottom again. Does anybody know how to fix this?

To the very left of the effects window, there should be what appears to be a raised bar (or line) going from about the top of the window down to almost the bottom of the window. Grab that bar and drag it up.
This should do the trick for you.

You can also go into the preferences and under the General tab ... deselect "Allow floating windows to dock".
