Hey eryone, I was wondering if someone could explain to me how to do something quickly. So all of the recordings with my band are Recorded at my drummers house, then the tracks are sent to me and mixed at my house. If I want use the new mix on his computer how would i go about doing this?

Can't you just tranfer the entire project folder to his computer? The project folder contains all the tracks, as well as all the edits and modifications to them. You could also just bounce an MP3 of the finished mix on your computer and transfer that over to him if you don't need to be able to open the project file at his house.

Yup this is fairly easy.

Save your project to a folder, "example test001" or locate the folder that the project is recorded to, if it's already done.

Hook up a usb disk, or simular device.

Make a copy of the folder.

Load the folder up on your other computer, Voila!! project is up and running :) .

Needless to say, both machines must have logic installed, and preferably the same version.

You can also open the project and then select "save as..." and save it to what ever medium you want. When you use the "Save as..." feature it will create another project under that name and include all of the assets as well. Just make sure you open the bin and "select unused files" and delete them. This way you don't have to transfer takes you'll never use.
