The original title for this was Dec2010 which doesn't sound nearly as dynamic.

MP3 Player SoundClick

I've been messing with this off and on since Christmas. Any and all comments welcome but mainly interested in first impression

First impression? Loved it. Very dynamic with lots going on while never really getting off the driving beat. I like your style and always look forward to your industrial dance/rock songs.

I'm not crazy about the fade-out ending. It seems like an afterthought or you just didn't know how to end it. I think just an abrupt stop on an unexpected upbeat would be cool. That's just me though. Overall it's really good.

Great track...the need for chopped up vocal samples screamed out to me, it would probably date it..but I could hear Reagan talking about aliens (the space variety)lol

nice sound to the guitars and the synths sounded very meaty, liked the vocoder/vox box effect thing (thats where I was hearing the samples)

ending was a bit of an afterthought as Greg said..all in all meaty beaty big and bouncy :)

Totally agree with kcearl and greg on this one. The ending's not as good as the rest.

It sounds great from what I could get through. For some reason, from about one minute onward, the track kept stalling out and skipping. I reloaded it a few times to no avail.

I'll try again later as I always enjoy your stuff and this sounded pretty cool.

Wow - everytime you put up a tune it's fresh and original and of course well played and recorded.
Moving into the club sound on this one but still with that edge I know you from before....
Since December ? Well worth the wait! :D:D:D:D:D

I dont mind the fade out ending if it actually fades out, instead of fading a bit then just cutting out. I feel like the section 2:20 to 2:50 should do something a bit different , since it is just a repeat of an earlier section, maybe a different guitar sound, or diff drum beat, or I dunno what. I like the big fat bass synth sound.

Exactly what Greg, Cearl and everyone else said. I always like seeing a new post from you, and you're one of the few people I make it a point to check out as soon as you post something.

This is just too cool, like everything else I've heard from you. Considering there are no vocals, I still wanted to hear it until the end.

If I have to nit-pick, I'd say that I wish the bass drum hit me in the chest more. That might be the only thing the tune lacks, a fat meaty low end. But that's minor and maybe even just my shitty ears.

The fade would be cool if this was only about a minute long and more of interlude between 2 tunes on an album. As a full song, it might need a more un-expected ending.

Awesome stuff as usual.

Love the wet and sloppy synth sounds juxtaposed against the rhythm guitar, but ultimately this is a great sound in need of a vocal translation.

Ok, it worked fine this time. Phew. Sounds great. It really has all of the elements from your stuff that I like, but no vocals at all...:(

I don't mind the ending so much 'cause it almost stops, then comes back, then fades...which is kinda unique, but I get what the others are saying that something more abrupt might suit it better.

Cool angry sounding guitars and thunderous drums - as usual.

XLnt - the wide panning sounds good at low volume. Not so good at high volume, I mean too wide.

My play through is stuttering!!! It does break up he flow somehwat.
The guitars are big enough for a BBQ.
I didn't get to the end because of the hiccoughing sorry!

I totally love this, BH!
Those synths blend beautifully with the steam-roller guitars.
Very original, very fresh...I wish it was longer.
Nice work!:)

Very unique and very cool. That's what I love about this place.... you can come here and listen to something completely different and well done. This is another great example of the talent in this place.

I'm not crazy about the snare reverb, but that's personal preference. The ending was okay with me.

Thanks, man, for sharing this.

Greg_L Yeah I'll have another look at the ending, I think you're right. The fade is a bit of a copout. The original jam was about 5 minutes long, and the reason it fades there is I did big garks on both drum takes just at that spot so it seemed like a good point to call it quits. Thanks man.

kcearl Cheers dude. I'd like to have vocals on there but I'm lyrically challenged. If something occurs to you, please feel free...

cobaltaudio Thanks for the listen

ido Thanks man. I used to cut out a tune every 4 -6 weeks, but they seem to take a lot longer to gestate these days

neeel Yep good call, I need a change up at that part. I'll revisit that. Thanks for the spin.

Rami Thanks for the kind words Ramster. Yeah let me take another look at that kick. I'm sure there's more room down there.

Tobe Yep you're right. Wish I could say I had plans for the vocals but I don't. Thanks for the listen.

heatmiser Thanks a lot heat. I think I will readjust the ending.

manslick I'm guessing the too wide panning is due to the guitars not being that close together in some spots. Something else to fix. Cheers man

rayc Hmm not sure what's going on there. HM said the same thing happened to him. Probably a QC issue down at soundclick. I'll investigate what's going on and rest assured - somebody will be fired

joeym Glad you liked it Joey. Thank a lot man

Chili I hate reverb too which is why I never use it. I think what you're hearing is the snare ring/room being pulled up by the compression. Thanks for the cool comments
