Mounting a FR trem on a Omen 6 Deluxe?

I've decided to tune up my schecter omen 6 Deluxe with a walnut satin finish, and decided to use dual EMG 81s for neck and bridge, and to install a Floyd Rose Original Tremolo over what wasent another trem but a end bridge with strings locked in holed going through the body, First of all, will the tremolo function properly after routing, and will it affect the guitars electric tone?

I would really love a trem since im a big pink floyd fan and I only have enough to make these adjustments myself, also is it necassary to have the back cover with small compartment underneath for the springs from the trem? i really need help here
 
Installing a floyd rose on a guitar with a string thru body bridge will take a lot of routing, you might want to get a pro to do it.
 
you will not have the same guitar as before. if you currently like the omen, i would just buy a new guitar with the floyd rose. if you decide to do it, as ibanez stated, definitely take it to a professional.
 
cool, and also it seems ill only be able to push the whammy bar down, because there wont be any space left underneath, all right, any sites with cheap FR trems? warmoth has them for 170$

it really depends on the routing. you could make it "float". just to add: if i were going to go through with this, though i'm not a fan of floyd roses, i wouldn't get the cheapest i could find. there are differences between the types of floyds.
 
A cheap floyd rose wont return to the same point after you move it, is generally harder to set up, and wont feel as good. I recommend just buying a guitar thats meant to have a floyd rose in it, like an RG.

haha nvm i putting my omen back up for sale, decided to get a body blank and make a whole new guitar in the RR style, gonna have a SSH pickup route and plan to give it a JS chrome kind of finish with an all maple neck, EMG S S 81 combination a licenced low pro floyd rose and a jackson style neck with 24 frets and my own little custom logo on top

it'll take me around 2 months considering how much time i get at my dads, but i'll post pics when im done, first though i need someone to buy my ax to fund part of the money, dont worry, i got an acoustic to back me up and christmas heading my way, total project amount of money adds up to 500-600$
 
nah im getting a Jackson neck from ebay and buying a blank from some guitar store around where i live, forget the name but they had great woods for awesome prices
