Hey all,
I have reached a decision that in my current lifestyle as a graduate student who only does recording as a hobby I can't really afford to keep up with the latest and greatest Apple offerings. To that end I have decided to try dabbling in Linux recording. The only problem I have is that MOTU interfaces are not so much Linux friendly.
I am looking to trade my MOTU Ultralite Mk2 for a comparable interface that would more suit my needs. I'm not really locked into a particular brand, just something solid that puts out decent quality audio. Here are some examples of interfaces that work...
The Echo Audiofire series...
Edirol Fa-101 and FA-66
Focusrite Sapphire, Sapphire LE, PRO 26, and PRO 10
ESI Quatafire 610
www.ffado.org has a more complete list
I am willing to take a price hit if needed to avoid the hassle and selling and rebuying, so let me know what you've got. Thanks!
