Motu Ultralight mk3 vs. Focusrite Saffire Liquid 56

Hello....

I'm confident enough, thanks to your input, that the Motu, will give driver stability on Windows, so now it may be useful to make a comparison with one of its main rivals. The Focusright (FR) of course has the Liquid preamps, but the Motu boasts hardware DSP-driven effects, independent of the host computer. FR only mentions VTS plugins, which I'm sure will run in real time and the Motu effects will be software controlled as well as the VTS. So the question is, what's the benefit of the effect processing being in the external box instead of the host computer, apart from CPU load?

FWIW DSP effects were a decision altering thing for me in my recent hunt for an interface.

Except that now that I have an interface that has them, I have yet to use them.

This is only partly because I haven't figured out how...:D
