MOTU traveller and Powerbook G4 - will it work?

I've been weighing up wether or not to buy a MOTU TRAVELLER, and i'm just wondering whether it will let me record 8 analog inputs *simultaneously* into my powerbook g4 1.33mhz, without freezing or screwing up. will use audiodesk and upgrade to MOTU DP.

any thoughts appreciated

To get 8 analog inputs you would need to use a combination of the 4 line inputs and the 4 mic preamps. As far as freezing and/or screwing up, you might want to look at the MOTU user's group forum (Unicornation.com). Check out the Hardware section. There are a bunch of posts reporting various experiences with the Traveller.
