Just been reading the CueMix documentation for the 828mkII...
The 828mkII supports up to four separate stereo monitor mixes assigned to any four digital or analog output pairs
But if the device has 8 Analogue outs and a single 8 Channel ADAT out (16 channels, 8 output pairs), if you can only create 4 Stereo mixes mapping to 4 output pairs, what happens to the other 4 output pairs?
Compare that to the documentation for the MOTU 24I/O...
CuemixDSP does not limit you to four stereo mixes. You can configure a unique mix for every physical stereo output you have available. This means you can have up to 48 separate stereo mixes on a 96 output system.
So are there really 8 output channels going to waste on the 828mkII?? I'm assuming I'm missing something
