I'm going to buy a Macbook pretty soon, and would like to buy a firewire interface, so that I can record my drums! =)
I was almost 100% sure of buying the Presonus FP10, but all of a sudden I saw the Motu 8pre. I've heard great things about Motu as a brand, and I was wondering if I should go for this interface instead? Reliability is a top priority for me, I don't want things to crash and crack/pop/whatever, hehe!
What would you guys suggest? I need 8 preamps + an interface, and would really like to have a "all-in-one-box" thing, like the 8pre and the FP10, but I'm also open for other suggestions!
Help a fellow drummer out - and please, if there are posts like this, direct me to them. I just couldn't get the search function to work properly! Bah!
