Yeah when you move the fader on the hardware mixer it moves on the software and vice versa.

But AA won't automate fades or swells that way, and that's the limitation I was referring to. If you want to fade out the end of the track with the fader, you find that the entire track, back to the start, lowers in volume. You have to use the volume envelopes for changes within a track. As far as simply moving knobs and watching changes on the screen, my US428 will do that, but that's not automation.

Yep no Automation in audition which I think is the main area it fails in comparison with other software. I think thats the missing link to making it a full blown pro piece of software that can hold its own in the commerical audio world.
