Motif-Rack ES --> FirePOD

What's the best way to record from my Yamaha Motif-Rack ES? Should I plug into the front inputs (w/pres) or the line inputs on the back of the FirePOD (bypassing the pres).

I'm new to external synths, so pretty basic question. Thanks.

No, no... The Yamaha Motif-Rack ES is a sound module... You should connect it to the MIDI port... Yamaha midi out to Firepod Midi in. Then you setup up your Midi inputs on your DAW (and on Windows if you want, too) and you´re ready to go.

I'm talking about the audio from the module to the FirePOD .. I have the midi hookup correct.

I found my answer @ the Presonus site.. I should be using the Line Inputs on the back.
