Most Practicle way? (newbie)

What is the most Practicle and affordable (as littlle $) solution for me?

I have a PHonic Helix 18 Firewire Mixer and i want to hook it up to a computer who's sound card only has a USB imput.

*remember that this Mixer acts as the sound card....so i don't need to focus on good quality sound card - just a way to get the mixer connected to the computer*

I assume your computer doesn't have a firewire connection, if that's true than you can't connect a firewire device. You need to buy a PCI card that gives a firewire connection.

You can get a Cheapo Firewire Card on E-Bay for Fairly Cheaply so Just install a Firewire Card and you are ready to Rock and Roll...

I think I have one Laying arround that I am not useing that has 3 or 4 Firewire inputs on it...If you want to Buy it off of me Make me an Offer...

I encourage you to use a name brand Firewire card, because the driver quality is better.

Find the model that suits your needs, then hunt for it on www.pricegrabber.com for the best price. I almost always buy from www.newegg.com because they offer premium service at a somewhat higher price. I never have RMA issues with Newegg, and I spend a boatload of (client) money there.
