B Bulls Hit Well-known member Feb 7, 2005 #2 USB 1 bandwidth is only 12Mb/sec. To record more than 2 channels involves some kind of compromise, like turning off monitoring, or reducing bit depth and sample rate. If you want to record more than 2 channels, you want to look at a firewire or usb 2 solution, or pci on the desktop
