Session Drummer

While using Session Drummer...is it possible to have it record the midi information? Currently I've got it working...playing to my outboard synth. .

I would like to save the midi info, edit add fills etc. in keyboard view. Is this possible?

Thanks

OK...OK...I probobly should have done a little more surfing before posting this call for help.

I just answered my own question. For those of you who are wondering the same, instead of using session drummer as an effect in the track, simply;

highlight the track
in the menu bar select >Process>Midi Effects>Cakewalk FX>Session Drummer

work up the drum patterns then click ok. It dumps the midi info into the track.

are you using the midi track to play a sampled drum kit off a software synth or send it outboard to a module?

Never mind..., I see your using the Trit'. It has some fab drumkits...

Thanks for taking a shot at it toki...

The Triton does have some pretty decent drums but I'm rather curious about acidized drum samples. You have any experience with it?

I would still like to develop a midi track then point to a sampled product like Drumkit from hell...is this possible? I hear that the end result is much more realistic.

I use some sampled loops but I havn't used the drumkit your talking about...., yet. Mine is more cut and dry. I haven`t used session drummer in a while either. s I just make my own loops using a midi keyboard to generate the different notes of the drumkit onto a track, that in turn is routed through a softsynth that plays soundfonts (samples) as an audio track. I have heard stuff done with drumkit from hell and it is very strong.
